Why we exist
Today's world is changing faster than ever. Young people face increasing pressure, constant comparison and an overload of information. Schools work incredibly hard, yet many students are losing confidence, motivation and joy in learning. The result? Not a lack of intelligence. A lack of connection - with themselves, with others and with learning. At The Limitless Academy, we believe education has the power to change that. Not by adding more pressure, but by helping people discover who they are, what they are capable of and how they can contribute to the world. Because prevention is always more powerful than repair.
Our Philosophy
We believe learning should develop the whole person, not just academic achievement. Real education also builds confidence, communication, creativity, resilience, curiosity, health, purpose, relationships and leadership. When people grow as human beings, better results naturally follow.
Meet the founder
For more than twenty years, our founder worked as an English teacher at one of the most progressive secondary schools in the Netherlands, consistently achieving excellent academic results while receiving exceptionally positive feedback from students and parents. Yet something kept bothering him: many students were succeeding on paper while slowly losing their curiosity, confidence and energy. He realised that education should do more than prepare students for exams - it should prepare them for life. That belief became the foundation of the Limitless Academy. Beyond the classroom, he founded and developed several educational and social initiatives focused on talent development, creativity and equal opportunities for young people, i.e. Nieuwe Helden Next Level, recognised nationally for its contribution to arts and culture, and Kind4Kids, his foundation ensuring that every child in the region - regardless of background - has access to enriching experiences that build confidence, connection and wellbeing. Nieuwe Helden has been awarded a Provincial/National Cultural Prize. The student and parent feedback has ranked among the national top for the last twenty years. Everything he has built shares one purpose: helping people discover the best version of themselves.
